Birdseye Maple Jewelry or Scarf Box

The corners are compound mitered so that the sides lean out from the center of the box, giving it a Japanese feel.
The accents on the lid are black walnut and the pull is made from Redheart ( yes the wood is actually bright red ! ).
The Box contains one removable tray ( 6" x 6" x 1.5") and is finished with lacquer and looks very distinguished on a coffee table or bureau.
